Visual Storytelling Series

As a Digital Visual Storyteller at the Digital Society School, I created and published a weekly illustrated visual diary documenting the design process, collaborative environment, and key moments throughout the program, for a collaborative project with the Dutch Ministry of Finance. Each illustration combines storytelling and visual communication to translate experiences, reflections, and complex design concepts into engaging narratives for a broader audience.

To Dear Me

2024 Procreate

The collection of "To Dear Me" postcards are gentle letters to oneself, offering a moment of pause, warmth, and understanding in daily life. Each card carries messages of empathy, encouraging self-kindness and compassion as an act of healing and self-acceptance.

Palette of Emotions

2020 Ink - handprint

The "Palette of Emotions" postcard collection explores diverse concepts such as freedom, love, captivity, and death through visual interpretations. Each design conveys its message with thoughtful imagery, while the use of handprints adds a personal, tactile dimension—creating unique narratives that invite viewers to discover and reflect on each emotion.

Wordless Story Illustration

A Family

I write a story named "A Family" to show how what makes individuals different from others can make them feel isolated. The main character in the story comes back to life with the support and empathy of loved ones, highlighting the importance of family. A wordless picture book consisting of 16 frames was created, and five frames were selected for submission to the Bologna Children's Book Fair.

The Passage Within

This architectural design tells the emotional journey of a person moving through five stages of life — from innocence to self-realization. It begins with "Childhood," a space symbolizing freedom and openness. As people grow and leave behind the carefree nature of childhood, they enter "Transformation," a phase of change that gradually draws them toward darker, more complex emotional states. This leads to "Depression," where the space represents heaviness, isolation, and inner struggle. After enduring this darkness, the individual experiences "Confusion," a transitional space where they search for direction and clarity, confronting the inner turmoil in hopes of finding a way out. Finally, through reflection and acceptance, they arrive at "Healing," a space of light, balance, and renewal — symbolizing restoration, growth, and the ability to continue life with newfound strength.

The Reconciliation Neighborhood

Contemporary cities often evolve toward modernity, sometimes overlooking their historical and cultural identities. In Iran, the traditional Mahaleh was a small neighborhood defined by its distinctive architectural character and communal layout. This project focused on designing a 'University Staff Neighborhood' inspired by the Mahaleh concept, reinterpreting its cultural and spatial qualities to create a modern yet contextually rooted living environment.

Digitization Of Historical Safavid Towers

The twin towers of Safa is a "Kabutar-Khaneh", which means house of a pigeon, in Iran. It is designed to protect pigeons from predators. The inside of the structure has a parametric geometry. I attempted to digitalize a 3D section of the building to showcase its geometrical patterns based on its pictures and plans.
